Online tutoring
I have been teaching online since 2017 and have found it to be the most efficient form of teaching, enabling intense, effective learning; and of course it allows me to connect with students all over the world. I use Skype to talk directly to my students, and the interactive Google Classroom where both of us can collaborate on the same document in real time. I create bespoke lessons for each student and send any materials they need ahead of the lesson for them to read. We can achieve everything I would normally achieve in a classroom but from the comfort of your own home.
Prices, Payment and Availability
From time to time my waiting list is a little long. If so, I will let you know straight away with estimated times of my availability. It’s best to use the online inquiry form, filling it in with as much detail as possible. I will reply to you within three working days.
If you accept a place with me, I will ask you to read and sign my tuition contract. This provides assurances for both of us regarding absence and cancellation.
Given my experience and specialist knowledge, my rates are high. However, my students gain new confidence in their ideas, and I can help them to do better than they think is possible.
Certificates, References and Guarantees
I have an enhanced DBS certificate which provides validation regarding my suitability and safety for working with children. I am happy to scan this to you (or, indeed my degree and teaching certificates). Additionally, I am happy to put you in touch with current or previous parents if you wish to have a private reference. Of course, I cannot guarantee that your child will get the grades you would like them to achieve. However, I can guarantee that I will ensure they achieve their potential and will keep you up to date with their progress.
